About Leonard Ludovico
Work Experience

1980-Present - Dog Whisperer
Specializing in dog aggression and fearful dogs for 25 years. Whatever is going on with the owner has been transferred to the dog. As I change the owner’s belief system, the dog changes. Therefore,
Leonard's experience with canines and the animal kingdom is extensive. He has handled more than 40,000 dogs during the last 25 years. To further develop his understanding of animal behavior he traveled to Africa to be trained by the Maasai Tribe in the Kenya bush. A Maasai master animal shaman walked with Leonard and the big five--Elephants, Lions, Rhino, Cape Buffalo, and the Leopard. Leonard learned how to be one with himself and one with wild animals. Returning from Africa he spent weeks in New Mexico living with wild wolf packs to understand animals and the "pack mentality". Then it was off to Thailand, where he was trained at an elephant camp and had the opportunity to work with cobras and crocodiles in the wild. Back in Southern California after his world travels to study animals in the wild, Leonard added all he had learned to the new Dominant Dogs program. Leonard uses his program to successfully train any dog, any age, and any aggression level-- even puppies. With a full "Doggy Ranch" training facility Leonard is able to work closely with the dog to change the way the dog interacts with both dogs and humans. The new program uses Leonard's highly developed methods to teach the dog how to think like a dog and still remain a valued member of the owner's family.
